Assisted living, also called supportive living in Alberta, is slightly different as it provides everything independent living communities offer, with added personal care services such as bathing and dressing. Seniors in assisted living still live comfortably in the privacy of their own apartment within their senior communities; however, they may just need additional assistance when it comes to performing daily routines.
